The Cabin Life

This is Shannon's Dad's Friend's cabin at Courtright Reservoir located outside Fresno pass Shaver Lake. The cabin sits at about 8500 feet.

A huge snow drift coming off the east side of the cabin.

Icicles on the west side of the cabin.

This is how we got in... Matt made a trail to the stairs from the road.

A view from the living room of the kitchen and dining area.

The kitchen from the upstairs loft.

The downstairs.

The Indian on the stairs. Brandon said that the Indians live in the cabin, but they were not there right now.

In the basement, there was the generator that charged the batteries for electricity.

A neighbor's house... all covered in snow!

Wow! What a trip! You guys are pioneers! I can't wait to show Kehlan pictures of all his cousins in that huge amount of snow! Treking in, hauling provisions and they having to boot-sccty out --- an extremely memorable trip! Shannon, you are a trooper!

Thanks for sharing ... Carol

I need to learn how to type ...sorry for the typos ...
"then having to boot-scooty out".

I stand corrected ... grinning, Carol
