California Poppies

We drove out to Lancaster to see the poppies.  This was a Friday and there were so many cars along the road that stopped to take a look at the poppies.

SCVi 7th Grade RenFaire

Here are highlights of the 7th grade SCVi RenFaire.  This was a fantastic ending to their Renaissance period history lessons.  The kids researched a particular area of interest and then displayed what they learned in their booth.  There were weapons, potions, food, palm reading, music, and dancing.

Last Day in Hawaii

Our last day in Hawaii, we just walked around and took it all in.  And revisited a favorite restaurant Lulu's for more Poke before heading home.  The food was amazing!

 We walked along the beach and out on a cement walkway out into the ocean.  We feed some fish bread and saw a sea turtle.

Diamond Head Hike and Amazing Views

We borrowed bicycles from our hotel and rode them to Diamond Head and then hiked to the top.  There were some gorgeous views!

Before we began the hike to the top of Diamond Head, we snacked on a Hawaiian Ice.

A mongoose came to share our snack food.  I had some Taro chips and he really like them. 

On the hike to the top of Diamond Head included lots of stairs...

And the view was amazing!
