Matt decided to put the new fish tank on the partition between the kitchen the family room. Though, the partition is just drywall and is a little too narrow. He built a melamine shelf with pine trim. This gave a nice waterproof surface that matched the aquarium width.

We then put the aquarium in place and filled it up!

When it was all filled up, the kids pretended to be fish.
